Seas of Raesenia is a upcoming naval fantasy game where you restore an ancient high-tech battleship to sail the world. Raise a ragtag crew, fend off hostile factions seeking to take your ship, and unravel the mystery behind the magical dome separating you from the outside world.

I was brought onto the team as a contractor in April 2025 as a 2D artist and animator. Over time, my role expanded, and I now wear many different hats.

I’ll be writing about my contributions in further detail once the game releases.

Contributions:

  • Animated main menu

  • Illustrating and preparing characters from concept images.

  • Concepting, illustrating, and animating new content following previously established art style.

  • Creating and implementing materials, shaders, and VFX in UI, cutscenes, and animations.

  • Using Unity's profiler find inefficiencies, and optimizing problem assets and scripts.

  • Writing documentation for created assets to aid future artists and programmers.
